Hello, I'm delighted to have you with me today in episode 40. Petra Bach, whom I spoke with a few weeks ago, shares a truly profound experience today that gave me goosebumps at times—and yet, thanks to her remarkable dark humor (as she herself says), there were also moments where we could smile together.

So, who is Petra? After graduating from high school, she worked as an advertising saleswoman, then began studying art, and then started again with a degree in cultural management.
Today, she is particularly well-known in Düsseldorf, where she designed, among other things, the first "art train" for the Rheinbahn (Rhine Railway). With her company, ARTANDBUTTER, Petra aims to create a platform where the worlds of art and business can meet in a relaxed atmosphere. Petra also runs her blog "oben-ohne.life," in which she and others share stories about their lives with and after cancer.
Show notes
Today, Petra tells us about her career path and why you have to be passionate about what you do in order to be able to get back up again when you experience setbacks.
You'll hear how she and her husband embarked on a pioneering life—without knowing she was carrying the "bombshell of a brain tumor." In this conversation, you'll learn how she experienced this time, who was a tremendous support and source of courage—and how humor also helped her through it.
She shares why life after the tumor was her biggest challenge—after all, she firmly believed she wouldn't survive the surgery. How she experienced the time after the surgery, how she regained her positive drive, and—after having to relearn how to run—how she's now training for the 2021 New York Marathon—you'll hear all of this in this episode of my Make it YOUR Path podcast! ☺
