Translated - German Episode

Today you'll hear a fascinating interview with Anja Blacha. She studied business administration, earned her master's degree in philosophy, and then worked as a telecommunications expert for companies like Vodafone and Swisscom. Today, she works as Vice President at the non-profit organization Project Management Institute, supporting others in turning their project ideas into reality.

Anja tells us how her willpower helped her become the youngest German to climb all 7 Summits – the highest mountains on all continents – and how she also broke a record with a solo polar expedition. You'll soon find out what it means to her to set such ambitious goals and find fulfillment in them – and why we agree that you should focus on your own strengths and values.

She reports how at one point she asked herself whether she should follow her career path or her passion - and chose to take the detour towards studying philosophy.

We talk about her journey, which consisted of several individual stages, and about how inspiration from other people helped her on this journey.

Anja talks about her most difficult decision, which was also her most insightful: climbing Mount Everest. To do this, she had to take two months off from her new job while still in her probationary period! She lets us share in her maturation process, which consists of diverse experiences and has made her who she is today :)
