Translated - German Episode

For this episode, I had the chance to speak with Yannik Raiss, who shared many exciting and encouraging insights. Since it was difficult for me to shorten this and it would be quite a lot to cover in one sitting, I've simply split this conversation into two parts for you.

Yannik lives in Hamburg (my hometown ☺) and has long pursued his passion—languages and speaking. He is an actor (including for ZDF), a narrator for audiobooks, a voice actor for Netflix productions, and a news anchor for NDR Info. He studied media and communication studies and Japanese studies. Find out more now!

Shownotes Part 1

Yannik's path hasn't been a straight one, and it hasn't always been easy. He tells us how he realized this is exactly what he wanted to do professionally and how his willpower and perfectionism helped him achieve it. In this first of two parts, we also hear how he stuck to his goal despite reactions like "He'll never amount to anything" and "You're no good and you can't act," and how he motivated himself and still made it.

Shownotes Part 2

In this second part, Yannik speaks openly about dealing with a serious defeat and feelings of failure and shame. In this second part, you'll hear which new behaviors have made a significant difference in his life and how he creates his plans to achieve challenging goals. You can also find out more about Yannik on his acting agency's website .

Do you perhaps have an initial idea of your goal, but haven't yet defined it in concrete terms and aren't even sure what the next step is? I would be happy to support you as a Career & Life Coach – in person in Düsseldorf, but also nationwide online or by phone.
