For this episode, I had the chance to speak with Yannik Raiss, who shared many exciting and encouraging insights. Since it was difficult for me to shorten this and it would be quite a lot to cover in one sitting, I've simply split this conversation into two parts for you.
Yannik lives in Hamburg (my hometown ☺) and has long pursued his passion—languages and speaking. He is an actor (including for ZDF), a narrator for audiobooks, a voice actor for Netflix productions, and a news anchor for NDR Info. He studied media and communication studies and Japanese studies. Yannik's path hasn't been a straight one, and it hasn't always been easy.
