**Translation of a German Episode**
Hello, I warmly welcome you to this 22nd podcast episode with Oliver Heuler.

Oliver says of himself that the draw was more important to him than Dürer or Darwin, and that's why he still wanders through life without any significant general education – but with a golf instructor's diploma. He has since become a national golf coach, published several books, and is considered one of Germany's best golf instructors.

Oliver Heuler lives in Waren an der Müritz, where, alongside his job, he's always busy learning a new hobby. And not without success. Here's a brief excerpt: He started shooting at the age of 40 and retired after four years, having won four German runner-up titles. In hang gliding, he was named "Rookie of the Year" in his first year of competitive competition.
Yep, that's Oliver. ☺
In this interview, he shares with us why he believes self-motivation and willingness to learn are the keys to learning, and what continually drives him to try out new hobbies and optimize his learning processes. You'll also learn about the important insights he gained from his time as a state and national coach that led him to leave this job.
It will be exciting when he shares his definition of talent with us, where it comes from and what role it can play in finding one's own path.
A little note – this was one of my very early interviews – I was incredibly excited (well, that hasn't changed much since then ☺ ), but my sound technology has also improved a lot. I hope Oliver's exciting stories will help you overlook that!
