Stefan became known for his books about "Günter, the Inner Weaker." Today, he is one of Germany's top speakers and inspires audiences with his lectures on self-motivation, successful communication, and healthy living.
Many people may also know him from television (including SAT1, Pro7, Vox, WDR), where he regularly appears as a coach and talk show guest.
Inspired by the idea of combining entertainment with genuine added value, Stefan founded GEDANKENtanken—a completely new speaking format that continues to evolve (and grows and grows and grows ☺). He is also on the board of the German Speakers Association, which honored him with the Innovation Award.
Show notes
"It's usually not the decisions that are difficult – it's the path to them." That's the title of this episode – and that's just one of the topics I discussed with Stefan. He tells us how he worked as a depression doctor and suddenly recognized all the symptoms of depression in himself. And, of course, what he did next. You'll learn how he got his start in the media world, even though for a long time he had no idea this was where he would end up professionally.
You'll also hear in this interview how he approached self-employment, what he would have put up with for his dream job, and how he saw no other choice but to give it a try. We also talk about the importance of personal development, comfort zones, recognizing one's own motivation, and what he would do differently today, looking back on his career discovery phases. Stay tuned!☺
